When a King decides to expand his territory, he does it with the intention of duplicating his culture and character in the new domain. This is exactly what God did. When He placed us in the garden, it was to expand His territory of heaven where we are to reflect His culture and manifest His character on earth as it is in heaven. Further, God positioned us as royal regents and gave us the authority to exercise ruling power of His Kingdom in the new land. This makes us God’s representatives.
Since we are God’s representatives it is our duty to rule in such a manner that earth takes on the likeness of heaven. In doing so, there are three components that make up the Kingdom of God which must be duplicated:
The Social Status of Inhabitants
- The Body of Laws
- The Code of Ethics
The Social Status of Inhabitants
In the Kingdom of God, as with any kingdom, there is a social status. The head of any kingdom is the King or Lord. In the expanded territory of God, Jesus is Lord. We know this because Philippians 2:9-11 states, “Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. As Queens of this land and royal regents, we are to decree and declare that Jesus is Lord.
Following the head of the kingdom are his ambassadors or regents. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors as noted in 2 Corinthians 5:20. In this capacity, we are appointed and granted authority to exercise ruling power in the absence of Christ. Until Christ’s return, it is our duty to reflect the culture of the Kingdom and manifest the character of God.
As a Queen in the Kingdom of God we have access to the power that evokes the Word of God in our lives to reveal that we are in fact members of the royal family of God. Every promise of God should be evident for the world to see. When a Queen is ruling her domain, the world will see a woman with power and authority who is firmly rooted in the Word of God and successful at whatever she places her hand to do, with supernatural strength living under a hedge of protection that is healthy, wealthy and wise who is inspired by God with ideas, gifts and inventions.
Finally, there are subjects in a kingdom, in this case, the children of God. John 1:12 tells us that to all who receive Jesus and believe in His name, He gave the right to be children of God. This means that the children of God are privileged citizens. As children of God, the only priority is for them to seek the Kingdom (Matthew 6:33) and the ways of the King and as they adhere to laws of the land they will enjoy the benefits provided by the government. Matthew 7 says “7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. God is telling His children that He as the Sovereign ruler of Heaven and earth will take full responsibility for all of their needs.
The Body of Laws
As Queens our duty is to uphold the laws that God has already enacted so that we can reflect the culture of the Kingdom of God. There is no need to enact new laws for our domain. As Sovereign Lord God understands the level of order that must exist in order for all to live in peace, love and harmony. That is why He gave us the gift of His Will, so that we may flourish and proper. In our domain, or life garden, we are to adhere to and insist that everyone that we rule adhere to God’s laws.
The Code of Ethics
God developed a code of ethics that we as Queens are to enforce in order to manifest God’s character. This code of ethic is found in 2 Corinthians 13. God’s code of ethics is simply love. By following this code of ethics, we will manifest the life of a Queen – health, wealth and joy. 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails.
The Code of Ethics for a Queen is to:
- Follow the Commandments of God – Deuteronomy 28: 1-12
- Receive the Blessings of God – Psalm 1
- Live by faith – Habakkuk 2:4
- Keep her promises – Nehemiah 9:8
- Give generously – Psalm 37:21
- Speak appropriately – Proverbs 10:32
- Attain knowledge – Proverbs 11:9
- Care for the needs of others – Proverbs 12:10
- Care about justice for the poor – Proverbs 29:7
- Hate dishonesty – Proverbs 29:27
How Ought A Queen Rule Her Domain
As a Queen, we are to confess that Jesus is our Lord, declare the laws of God and decree the laws and code of ethics for all the citizens who are under our rule.
